In this entry, I'm going to give two recommendations about movies, the first one is a movie I think you should definetely watch, and the other one, is a movie I think you shouldn't waste your time watching, obviously giving you the reasons why. Also, I'm going to present you the main reasons or excuses people tend to use when they arrive late to a place, in form of a vocabulary.
I would recommend watching "Inception" as a must-see movie. Directed by Christopher Nolan, it is a mind-bending science fiction thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The film explores the concept of shared dreaming and follows a skilled thief who is tasked with implanting an idea into someone's subconscious mind. With its intricate plot, stunning visuals, and brilliant performances, "Inception" is a thought-provoking movie that delves into the depths of the human mind and blurs the lines between reality and dreams. Prepare to be captivated by its suspenseful storytelling and thought-provoking themes.
On the other hand, I would strongly advise against watching "The Emoji Movie." It is a movie that I found to be incredibly disappointing and lacking in substance. Despite the potential for a fun and entertaining concept, the execution falls flat. The story revolves around the world of emojis living inside a smartphone, but the plot feels forced and the humor falls into the category of silly rather than genuinely funny. Overall, I found it to be a boring and forgettable movie that fails to deliver on its potential.
When it comes to being late, people often come up with a range of excuses to justify their tardiness. Some of these reasons include:
Oversleeping: Waking up late or struggling to get out of bed can be a common culprit for being late. Hitting the snooze button one too many times or simply underestimating the time needed to get ready can result in running behind schedule.
Public transportation mishaps: Relying on buses, trains, or subways can introduce potential delays. Missing a scheduled departure or encountering unexpected service disruptions can disrupt travel plans and cause lateness.
Transportation difficulties: Whether it's difficulty finding a taxi or ride-sharing service, encountering road closures, or experiencing vehicle problems, transportation challenges can impede timely arrival.
Parking issues: Finding an available parking space can be a frustrating endeavor, particularly in busy urban areas or during peak hours. The search for parking can eat up valuable time, leading to lateness.
Traffic congestion: Congested roads and heavy traffic are frequent culprits for delays. Rush hour, accidents, construction, or other unpredictable traffic conditions can significantly extend travel time and cause unexpected tardiness.
